Homosexuals have often called for tolerance, freedom and diversity in their attempt to secure more rights, including being married. Curiously, when Christians moved to teach about the dangers of a homosexual lifestyle during a gay pride parade, they dragged them to the court.
Christians led by Canadian activist Bill Whatcott are currently facing a $104-million lawsuit after they went to the Toronto’s Gay Pride Parade to distribute materials about the physical and spiritual dangers of living a gay life.
The complainants include former Ontario member of the provincial parliament George Smitherman, the province’s first openly gay provincial representative as well as the first openly gay cabinet minister. He said he joined in filing the case to “do all we can to stamp this hateful individual out.”
The Christians facing the case, however, questioned the double standards being practiced by the participants of the gay parade. He said that the homosexuals in the event would rather accept condoms and sex tips pamphlets than materials on how gay sex can endanger their health and spiritual life.
Whatcott’s group even had to register themselves as the so-called “Gay Zombies Cannabis Consumers Association” and pay the $100 fee last month to be able to carry out their mission of informing the gay parade participants of the danger of the lives they are living.
“I asked them if they wanted ‘Zombie safe sex,'” Whatcott told Life Site News. “Everyone loved it. But, if you try to give out a Gospel pamphlet, they swear at you and throw slushies on your forehead. But, give them some wackadoddle thing that looks like a condom, and they really can’t grab it fast enough. I had three thousand out in 20 minutes,” he said.
Whatcott said his group only wanted to encourage the gay parade participants to repent and change their ways.
“Our delivery was a bit creative,” Whatcott said, “but, we wanted to give people this message because it is truthful.”
