[Jesus said,] "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere — in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Power. Spirit. Witnesses. Everywhere. Four simple words that stand for one simple truth that has changed the world for Jesus countless times throughout history. Imagine what would happen in our day if we took these four words seriously, with our ability to travel and with our technology and ability to communicate. After all, this is our mission. This is Jesus' will. Power. Spirit. Witnesses. Everywhere.
Prayer
Thank you, Father God, for having me live in this time. Thank you, Father, for blessing me so richly with the resources you have placed in my hands. I ask, Holy Spirit, that you stir my heart and empower my words so that I can join with other followers of Jesus in taking the message of the Father's gracious love to people everywhere. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
