A German jihadi, who claims to have converted from Christianity, is wreaking terror in Iraq as he whips prisoners, attends public amputations, and calls for lone-wolf terror attacks on the West.
The jihadi who calls himself Abu Issa al-Almani says in a video released by ISIS that he converted to Islam before travelling from Germany to Iraq, according to The Daily Mail. The video, which is called “From Darkness Into Light,” shows images of Christian churches and priests as Issa al-Almani discusses his past life.
The video also shows footage of the U.S. Secretary of State meeting with world leaders as the jihadi lashes out at countries taking up military action against ISIS.
He is later shown whipping prisoners in a town centre as crowds of people look on. Issa al-Almani is also seen attending the public amputation of another victim.
Before the video ends, Issa al-Almani encourages ISIS supporters to launch lone-wolf attacks on the West.
Issa al-Almani is not the first German who left his country to join ISIS in Iraq or Syria. Just this June, German intelligence officials reported that a street thug rapper, who purportedly produced some of the most horrific ISIS execution videos, was not really killed in Syria as previously claimed by the Pentagon.
The man, named Denis Cuspert, is known as the “Goebbels of ISIS.” He was the one who produced the footage of Jihadi John beheading British and U.S. prisoners with a knife, and he even publicly threatened U.S. President Barack Obama.
Authorities mistakenly reported that he was killed by a U.S. air strike in Syria last October, but the news was debunked by Bernd Palenda, director of the Berlin branch of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. Palenda said Cuspert, who is also known by his artist name Deso Dogg, is still alive.
