What would you do if you come face-to-face with a wild animal — in your own bathroom, no less?
This was what 64-year-old George Sandell had to contend with last month after a fox jumped through his bathroom window while he was taking a bath, according to Mirror. The fox climbed over the wall and through a narrow gap in the window to get inside Sandell's flat in Worthing, West Sussex, England.
"I was just lying in the bath and then suddenly a fox jumped through the window, he made an awfully loud noise, it sounded like the whole building was subsiding," he recalled. "It was amazing how he got into the bathroom, my flat is on the first floor so he must have climbed a few walls to get in."
Things got awkward when the fox looked straight up at the grandfather of two. "I was a little scared at first, but he was more scared of me, it was incredible," Sandell admitted.
Sandell decided to leave the bathroom in the hope that the fox would climb out again, but when he returned, the fox was still there. He then opened the front door and guided the fox out of the flat — all the while taking a video of the incident.

"Once he was in, he just wouldn't leave. I eventually managed to get him out of the front door after a while," he said. "I am so glad that I recorded the whole thing because nobody would have believed me otherwise."
Surprisingly, that was not the end of the story. Sandell said the fox returned to his home again, and he even believes the fox recognises him.
"I saw him sitting on the wall outside and he must have recognised me and jumped down. I beckoned him in and he ran up the stairs and then ran around and back out again," he said.
