The second night of the American Gospel Celebration did not disappoint with The Hoppers, Booth Brothers, Voices of Lee, Gordon Mote and Larry Gatlin headlining.
The evening began with a tribute to those for whom the event is held, honoring the veterans with a salute to the armed forces sung by Voices of Lee. Applause rang out as each branch of our military was honored while veterans of each branch stood upon hearing their anthem.
The Hoppers followed, setting a worshipful tone with a stellar performance of their fan favorites including Jerusalem and Shoutin’ Time.
The Military Warrior Support Foundation continued it’s gift of giving when it blessed a wounded warrior with a mortgage free home. Don Chandler and his family were present to receive the keys to the same from Lt. Gen Leroy Sisco.
