Secretary Clinton, “That’s Not True”

I don’t understand why my Democrat friends — at least most of them — will not acknowledge this very serious refusal on the part of Secretary Clinton to admit that what she was said was, as Comey said, “false.” It is her response of refusing to acknowledge the obvious that provokes the numbers of Americans who do not trust her.

American politics are at an all-time low when Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are the candidates.

From Brakkton Booker at NPR:

Wallace said to Clinton during the interview that following a lengthy probe, “FBI Director James Comey said none of those things you told the American public were true.”

After thanking Wallace for the opportunity to clarify, Clinton stated:

“Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails.”

The big question

Is it true that the FBI director called Clinton’s answers “truthful” in regards to sending classified email over her private server?

The short answer

False….

One of those lawmakers, Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., who also served as the chair of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, had this exchange with Comey during a July 7 hearing:

Gowdy: “Secretary Clinton said there was nothing marked classified on her emails either sent or received, was that true?”

Comey: “That’s not true. There were a small number of portion markings on, I think, three of the documents.”

Gowdy: “Secretary Clinton said, ‘I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email, there is no classified material.’ Was that true?”

Comey: “No there was classified material emailed.”

I will say it again: I have no eschatology based on political elections. Who wins will not change the fact that Jesus is the world’s true ruler. There are very few politicians who have gained my confidence.
