Nobody from the McDonald's branch in Fort Worth, Texas reported to work expecting they will be blessed by a random act of kindness. But that was exactly what happened recently when a customer began handing out $100 bills to the fast food outlet's employees.
The incident was captured in a video taken by a customer who was in awe of what happened. The man who handed out the dollar bills did not even order anything from the menu. He got a hug from each of the employees, according to CBS News.
"You could tell it blessed their day," said spectator Lisa Davila. "They didn't come in there [to work] thinking that was going to happen that day… and that was the best part about it."
The man, who chose to remain anonymous, is actually Davila's boss. Davila wanted to share his story because she wanted to spread his love and positivity around.
"There was a young lady at McDonald's, who's a regular there and goes and has coffee, and she happened to be crying and it just broke his heart. So, he went over and he asked her what was going on and she was going through some tough times," she shared.

Davila's boss can actually relate because he's going through a rough time himself as well. He was recently diagnosed with cancer. "He's at the very beginning. So you know, it's going to be a long road for him," said Davila.
Instead of dwelling in sadness and worry, Davila's boss chose to focus on what's good in life. Davila even suspects that her boss would be reduced to tears when he learns just how much his gesture is appreciated by the McDonald's employees. He handed out enough cash that day for 33 employees — even those who weren't working their shifts.
"The employees are so incredibly grateful. One called him a living angel," she said. But for her boss, it's nothing but a simple act of paying "it forward. That's the whole idea behind it."
Should Davila's boss decide to return to the McDonald's branch, the employees have already prepared a warm thank you note for him.
