Just Some of the Reasons Pro-Abortion Hillary Clinton Must Never Become President

Before I began this admittedly very long post, I looked at the online front page of today’s Washington Post. I stopped counting at the links to 15 attacks on Donald Trump, plus the ebook “Trump Revealed” in which a bevy of Post reporters went after Trump, plus a separate link to the “Financials, depositions and interview transcripts: The documents behind ‘Trump Revealed.’”

Whatever happens November 8, reporters/editorial writers of the Media Elite will indulge in ceaseless rounds of navel-gazing. If pro-abortion Hillary Clinton wins, they will congratulate themselves for having done their civic duty. If Trump wins, they will (a) bemoan that they didn’t have 20 attacks each day and (b) attempt to delegitimize his presidency from the hour he carried the day.

We’ve written only periodically about the rampant double-standard whereby print and electronic reporters/commentators ignore the worst about Clinton and recycle–literally every 15 minutes on cable news–the worst about Trump. Worse yet is everything that has come out of the Wikileak documents that major media players have shamelessly consorted with the Clinton campaign to grease the skids for the former Secretary of State and set traps for Trump.

Here are a couple of thoughts.

“The Press Buries Hillary Clinton’s Sins: As reporters focus on Trump, they miss new details on Clinton’s rotten record” is the headline for a story by Kimberly A. Strassel of the Wall Street Journal [www.wsj.com/articles/the-press-buries-hillary-clintons-sins-1476401308].

SIGN THE PLEDGE! We Oppose Hillary Clinton!

We’ve learned (Strassel writes)

That the nation now has proof of pretty much everything she has been accused of.

It comes from hacked emails dumped by WikiLeaks, documents released under the Freedom of Information Act, and accounts from FBI insiders. The media has almost uniformly ignored the flurry of bombshells, preferring to devote its front pages to the Trump story. So let’s review what amounts to a devastating case against a Clinton presidency.

To take just two examples

The Obama administration—the federal government, supported by tax dollars—was working as an extension of the Clinton campaign. The State Department coordinated with her staff in responding to the email scandal, and the Justice Department kept her team informed about developments in the court case. …

Mrs. Clinton has been exposed to have no core, to be someone who constantly changes her position to maximize political gain. Leaked speeches prove that she has two positions (public and private) on banks; two positions on the wealthy; two positions on borders; two positions on energy.

Then there is the ceaseless heads-up and advice coming from supposedly neutral commentators /reporters. Long-time Democratic operative Donna Brazile could be expected to shill for Clinton while working for CNN but not give the Clinton Team a heads up on a question she thought might be troublesome for Clinton. And, sure enough, during the Town Hall, the question asked of Clinton was word for word the tip Team Clinton received earlier from Brazile (recently instated as the head of the Democratic National Committee).

Speaking of timing, of course the release of the now-famous “Access Hollywood” tape was timed to have the maximum negative impact on Trump. According to TMZ

NBC execs had a plan to time the release of the Donald Trump audio to have maximum impact on both the 2nd presidential debate and the general election … sources connected with the network tell TMZ.

Multiple sources connected with NBC tell us … top network execs knew about the video long before they publicly said they did, but wanted to hold it because it was too early in the election. The sources say many NBC execs have open disdain for Trump and their plan was to roll out the tape 48 hours before the debate so it would dominate the news cycle leading up to the face-off. …

We’ve told you the plan got derailed by Hurricane Matthew. Execs decided the wall-to-wall coverage of the storm would mess up the plan to dominate the news with the Trump tape, so they were going to hold it until Monday. It didn’t sit well with some staffers who wanted it out pre-debate, so it was leaked to the Washington Post.

This could go on forever, but allow me to take a side road before we arrive at the conclusion.

By burying what Clinton and her team said about a host of Americans who may (or may not) support Trump, they have minimized the fallout that would ensue if the public knew all the degrading things Clinton and her team said about their opponents.

Remember the context. This is the same woman who recently said, “You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. . . The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic — you name it. . . some of those folks, they are irredeemable.” Many of those “deplorables” are pro-lifers. When they oppose abortion, are they “clinging” to their “guns or religion” to express their “frustrations,” to borrow from then-candidate Barack Obama’s dismissive comments?

As Marc Thiessen wrote yesterday that is the setting “in which we must read a recently released trove of emails — which, according to WikiLeaks, come from the accounts of Clinton staff — showing the rampant anti-Catholic bigotry that permeates Clinton World.”

While the media has no trouble asking Gov. Mike Pence to denounce Trump’s remarks, Thiessen asks

Has anyone asked Clinton’s running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), who professes to be a faithful Catholic, whether he will quit the ticket over this? Does he agree that Catholics are “backwards,” that the Catholic Church is a “middle ages dictatorship” and that it is the job of politicians to foment a “Catholic Spring”? Does he agree that Democrats should be creating front groups to launch a “revolution” against the bishops? Does he share Clinton’s belief that the “religious views” of American Catholics “have to be changed”? He should be forced to answer.

You can say this a hundred times a day, and two hundred times on Sunday and it would never be enough. Hillary Clinton and the kinds of people she has around her are militant pro-abortion radicals who can’t wait to re-educate “your standard redneck,” Bill Clinton’s description of Donald Trump’s base.

Mrs. Clinton and those around here have no respect for you. As Hillary Clinton declared to the 2015 Women in the World Summit, that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.”

Thiessen was not exaggerating when he wrote

Religious beliefs have to be changed? This is perhaps the most radical statement against religious liberty ever uttered by someone seeking the presidency. It is also deeply revealing. Clinton believes that, as president, it is her job not to respect the views of religious conservatives but to force them to change their beliefs and bend to her radical agenda favoring taxpayer-funded abortion on demand.

Hillary Clinton must never be President.
