Late-Term Abortion Activists Wendy Davis Headlines Planned Parenthood Fundraising Event

Wendy Davis is again showing her support of Planned Parenthood and Hillary Clinton. On Saturday, the former pro-abortion Texas state Senator was the keynote speaker at an Advocacy Conference & Issues Forum held by Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan, MLive reported.

The conference was held at Grand Valley State University where Davis encouraged students and others in attendance to get involved in abortion activism. She also promoted Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Davis has consistently pushed radical abortion laws. She is famous for her 2013 filibuster of a Texas law that protected unborn babies from late-term abortions and required abortion facilities to meet basic health and safety standards. Consequently, it is unsurprising that Davis actively is campaigning for Hillary Clinton, another abortion advocate. In a recent interview, Davis described Clinton as “a person to be admired.”

Davis continued the glowing description: “The way that she fights for things that she really cares about, and the way that she doesn’t back down in the face of unbelievable scrutiny and criticism—I just think she’s a person of strength and conviction. And I believe that she is best suited at this time to take over and lead this country.”

Like Davis, Clinton opposes abortion bans after 20 weeks of pregnancy when scientific evidence shows that unborn babies feel excruciating pain, and she wants to force taxpayers to pay for abortions. Clinton also has spoken in support of gruesome partial-birth abortions, which are illegal. And in an April interview Clinton said an unborn child just hours before delivery has no Constitutional rights.

Wendy Davis remains determined to keep abortion legal for any reason through all nine months of pregnancy in the United States, and that is why she supports Hillary Clinton. As Davis herself said in an interview, “I also feel a bit of an obligation to show young women that we can get knocked down, but by God, we get back up and we fight to see a new day.”
