Verse
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let those who hear say, "Come!" Let those who are thirsty come; and let all who wish take the free gift of the water of life.
Thought
This invitation is powerful because if we listen, we are invited to the free gift of the water of life in two different ways. The first invitation is to come to Jesus and receive the water of life as a believer in him — he has promised us rivers of living water (John 7:37-39) and he has promised to pour out his Spirit upon us (Titus 3:3-7). The second invitation is the invitation for Jesus to come and bring in the ultimate victory and our ultimate healing (Revelation 22). When this occurs, life will be seen and made available everywhere — the Water of Life running down the middle of the street and the Tree of Life on either side. The Spirit is our assurance of life — both now and in the future.

O God, thank you for your gift of life through the gift of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
