Tomorrow, Paramount releases Ben-Hur, a movie with an obvious faith-based hook — and, coincidentally or not, this morning they released a trailer for Same Kind of Different as Me, an upcoming adaptation of a popular faith-based book.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME is the story of an international art dealer Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear) who must befriend a dangerous homeless man (Djimon Hounsou) in order to save his struggling marriage to his wife (Renée Zellweger), a woman whose dreams will lead all three of them on the most remarkable journey of their lives. Jon Voight plays Hall’s father, with whom he reconciles thanks to the revelations of his new life.

Interestingly, the original book was co-written by Lynn Vincent and published by Thomas Nelson, the co-author and publisher behind the book version of Heaven Is for Real — and the film stars Greg Kinnear, who also starred in Heaven Is for Real!

Same Kind of Different as Me was originally going to come out last April, when there was a glut of “faith-based” films, but it is now set to come out February 3, 2017.
